Salam Alekium! I'd like to ask for some help, inshAllah. I need to interview a Muslim concerning prayer in Islam. I'm Muslim myself, alhamdulilah, but can not use my own answers If anyone could please answer the questions below to the best of their ability keeping in mind I will use them as an interview from them, I'd really appreciate it. JazakAllah khairun in advance. P.S. You can choose to include your name, but if you feel uncomfortable, could you try your initials? :/ If not I'll make a name if I have to!
1. What does prayer mean to you? 2. Why do you pray 5 times a day? 3. How do you feel when you pray? 4. Do you feel a prescribed way to pray takes away from your sincerity? If not, explain. 5. How do you pray when you are not performing your required, or wajib, prayers? 5. Describe your first and most meaningful experience related to prayer. 7. How would you explain prayer to a non-Muslim who, say, prays but does not have a set way or time period for doing so?
