Faith on Angels [الْمَلَائِكَةِ]

Post by hia99 » Sun Mar 20, 2011 9:49 pm

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

Welcome back to journey [I was lost some where...]
now Insha'Allaah Khair ...

Well here now we resume the Journey and will see Insha'Allaah what is significance of Angels. Honestly before the idea of this journey I have not think about them as much as I did now. [Alhamdulillah].

First and the most important is to have FAITH on them..
As Allaah had decreed that,

The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], "We make no distinction between any of His messengers." And they say, "We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination."
http://tanzil.net/#2:285

Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous.
http://tanzil.net/#2:177

So it is basic part of believe for a believer to have firm faith on angles/ Malaika and one who do disbelieve, Allaah says for them...

Whoever is an enemy to Allaah and His angels and His messengers and Gabriel and Michael - then indeed, Allaah is an enemy to the disbelievers.
http://tanzil.net/#2:98

and...

O you who have believed, believe in Allaah and His Messenger and the Book that He sent down upon His Messenger and the Scripture which He sent down before. And whoever disbelieves in Allaah, His angels, His books, His messengers, and the Last Day has certainly gone far astray.
http://tanzil.net/#4:136

Angels are also messenger of Allaah [whom Allaah will],

[All] praise is [due] to Allaah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Indeed, Allaah is over all things competent.
http://tanzil.net/#35:1

and

Allah chooses from the angels messengers and from the people. Indeed, Allaah is Hearing and Seeing.
http://tanzil.net/#22:75

Also in surah Al-Nahl,

He sends down the angels, with the Ruh [*refers to the revelation] of His command, upon whom He wills of His servants, [telling them], "Warn that there is no deity except Me; so fear Me."
http://tanzil.net/#16:2

[*see that for explanations of this ayaa: http://tanzil.net/#42:52]

Qur'aan tells us that like human Malika are also servents of Allaah:

Never would the Messiah proud to be a servant of Allaah, nor would the angels near [to Him]. And whoever proud His worship and is arrogant - He will gather them to Himself all together.
http://tanzil.net/#4:172

subhan'Allaah.

And we know very well that to be Proud is chief characteristic of Shatan only.
as in ayaa http://tanzil.net/#17:61

Hence so far we have seen that Angels are creature of Allaah, They are His servant and whom of them Allaah will He choose as His Messenger...

Allaah told in Quran that every thing in Heaven or in Earth is doing His Worship so as Maalika do,

And to Allaah prostrates whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth of creatures, and the angels [as well], and they are not arrogant.

They fear their Lord above them, and they do what they are commanded.
http://tanzil.net/#16:49 http://tanzil.net/#16:50

So ~Mailka Worship and Fear Allaah.

And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except Iblees; he refused.
http://tanzil.net/#20:116

This shows that Angels are servant of Allaah and they Fear Allaah as much as they cant disobey Allaah [as we the servants do though Allaah says us to FEAR Him ]. Also the one who did't prostrated Ibless/shatan, was of the Jinn [another creation of Allaah] as in the ayaa http://tanzil.net/#18:50

And other ayaa that show the FEAR of Angels

And the thunder exalts [Allah] with praise of Him - and the angels [as well] from fear of Him - and He sends thunderbolts and strikes therewith whom He wills while they dispute about Allah; and He is severe in assault.
http://tanzil.net/#13:13

Interestingly Human always wanted to be like angel despite the fact that Allaah made Human whom Angels did prostrate.

But Satan whispered to them to make apparent to them that which was concealed from them of their private parts. He said, "Your Lord did not forbid you this tree except that you become angels or become of the immortal."
http://tanzil.net/#7:20

Well now we look that what major tasks Malika did/do/will-do by the will of their Lord/Ra'b

The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.
[this ayaa is about the Night when Qur'aan had revealed i.e لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ]
http://tanzil.net/#97:4

[Remember] when you asked help of your Lord, and He answered you, "Indeed, I will reinforce you with a thousand from the angels, following one another."
http://tanzil.net/#8:9

And already had Allah given you victory at [the battle of] Badr while you were few in number. Then fear Allah; perhaps you will be grateful.

[Remember] when you said to the believers, "Is it not sufficient for you that your Lord should reinforce you with three thousand angels sent down?
http://tanzil.net/#3:123 http://tanzil.net/#3:124

When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left
Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record].
http://tanzil.net/#50:17 http://tanzil.net/#50:18

And He is the subjugator over His servants, and He sends over you guardian-angels until, when death comes to one of you, Our messengers take him, and they do not fail [in their duties].
http://tanzil.net/#6:61

And when We give the people a taste of mercy after adversity has touched them, at once they conspire against Our verses. Say, "Allah is swifter in strategy." Indeed, Our messengers record that which you conspire
http://tanzil.net/#10:21

And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers,
Noble and recording;[كِرَامًا كَاتِبِينَ]
They know whatever you do.
http://tanzil.net/#82:10 http://tanzil.net/#82:11 http://tanzil.net/#82:12

The ones whom the angels take in death [while] wronging themselves, and [who] then offer submission, [saying], "We were not doing any evil." But, yes! Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what you used to do.
http://tanzil.net/#16:28

And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah or says, "It has been inspired to me," while nothing has been inspired to him, and one who says, "I will reveal [something] like what Allah revealed." And if you could but see when the wrongdoers are in the overwhelming pangs of death while the angels extend their hands, [saying], "Discharge your souls! Today you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation for what you used to say against Allah other than the truth and [that] you were, toward His verses, being arrogant."
http://tanzil.net/#6:93

and

The ones whom the angels take in death, [being] good and pure; [the angels] will say, "Peace be upon you. Enter Paradise for what you used to do."
http://tanzil.net/#16:32

While about judgment day

They will not be grieved by the greatest terror, and the angels will meet them, [saying], "This is your Day which you have been promised"
http://tanzil.net/#21:103

Gardens of perpetual residence; they will enter them with whoever were righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their descendants. And the angels will enter upon them from every gate, [saying],

"Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured. And excellent is the final home."
http://tanzil.net/#13:23 http://tanzil.net/#13:24
[ah patient is of most best things what a believer have to do...]

The angels and the Spirit will ascend to Him during a Day the extent of which is fifty thousand years.
http://tanzil.net/#70:4

And [mention] the Day when the heaven will split open with [emerging] clouds, and the angels will be sent down in successive descent.
http://tanzil.net/#25:25

Then on that Day, the Resurrection will occur,
And the angels are at its edges. And there will bear the Throne of your Lord above them, that Day, eight [of them].
http://tanzil.net/#69:15 http://tanzil.net/#69:17

And you love wealth with immense love.
No! When the earth has been leveled - pounded and crushed -
And your Lord has come and the angels, rank upon rank
And brought [within view], that Day, is Hell - that Day, man will remember, but what good to him will be the remembrance?
http://tanzil.net/#89:20 http://tanzil.net/#89:21 http://tanzil.net/#89:22 http://tanzil.net/#89:23

Its not over here...
will continue InSha'ALLAH...

Besides being messengers and bringer of good news and punishment of Allah ... angels also pray for the believers ... in fact the most loyal creation of Allah taala to believers are angels and the worst enemy of mankind is the satan. Lets see what these angels pray for :

'Those [angels] who carry the Throne and those around it exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord and believe in Him and ask forgiveness for those who have believed, [saying],
"Our Lord,

- You have encompassed all things in mercy and knowledge,
- so forgive those who have repented and
- followed Your way and
- protect them from the punishment of Hellfire.

Our Lord, and
- admit them to gardens of perpetual residence which You have promised them
- and whoever was righteous among their fathers,
- their spouses and their offspring.

Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
- And protect them from the evil consequences [of their deeds].
- And he whom You protect from evil consequences that Day - You will have given him mercy.
- And that is the great attainment." '
[Quran 40:7-9]

These angels affirm that Allah taala have encompassed all things in mercy and knowledge...and Allah has informed us in this quran... so who ever you are ... what ever you have done!!! know that Allah taala knows you ...

Remember when angels came to ibraheem alehesalam to give him good news of Isaq alehissalam they also informed him about destruction of people of lot Alehis salam... ibraheem alehesalam said !!! " lot is also in that town!!! "... then angels replied "nahno aalamo be man feeha!!!" WE ARE MORE KNOWING OF WHO IS WITHIN IT!! then they said that they will save him and his family except for his wife...
so we should never forget this!!!....who ever you are where ever you are Allah knows you .... each and every one of you !!! ... even if you are the only momin in the town full of fasiq people... and even if you are the only fasiq in a town full of momin people ... keeping that in mind lets see!!! that these angels are asking Allah taala for those believers who have done taubah!!! and followed way of Allah taala ...
They ask :

1. Forgiveness
2. Protection from hellfire
3. Entrance into Jannah
4. and same for their family members who become good!
5. Protection from evil consequences of their deeds

Example of above is here :

From tafsir ibn e kathir : Ibn Abi Hatim recorded that Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him -- and I do not know of anything narrated from Anas that he did not attribute to the Messenger of Allah : ( When it occurred to the Prophet Yunus, upon him be peace, to call upon Allah in these words when he was in the belly of the great fish, he said, "La ilaha illa Anta, Yo are glorified! Truly, I have been of the wrongdoers.''

This call went and hovered around the (mighty) Throne, and

he angels said, "O Lord, this is the voice of one who is weak but known, in a faraway strange land. Allah, may He be exalted, said, "How do you know this''

They said, "O Lord, who is he''

Allah, may He be exalted, said, "My servant Yunus.''

They said, "Your servant Yunus, from whom there kept coming acceptable deeds and supplications which were answered!''

They said, "O Lord, will You not have mercy on him for what he did during his time of ease, and save him from this trial and tribulation''

He said, "Of course.'' So, He commanded the great fish, and it cast him forth on the naked shore.)

Etativel Jazakum Allahu Khair for figure out that aspect. Its really good point.
Hope InshaAllaah you would bring more pearls.

Also,

Indeed, Allaah confers blessing upon the Prophet [sallallahu alyhe wassallim], and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allaah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace.
http://tanzil.net/#33:56

Masha'ShaAllaah what a harmony between Allaah, Angels, Messenger [sallallahu alyhe wassallim] and The Beleivers.

Subhan'Allaah

According to hadith

Imam Ahmad recorded that Abu Talhah Al-Ansari said: "One morning the Messenger of Allah was in a cheerful mood and looked happy. They said, `O Messenger of Allah, this morning you are in a cheerful mood and look happy.' He said,

(Of course just now someone ﴿an angel﴾ came to me from my Lord and said, "Whoever among your Ummah sends Salah upon you, Allah will record for him ten good deeds and will erase for him ten evil deeds, and will raise his status by ten degrees, and will return his greeting with something similar to it.'')
[Sahih Al-Jaami', by Al-Shiekh Al-Albaani]

بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

assalamualikum wa rahmat ALlahi wa barakatuh

THE REVELATION OF QURAN and GibRiel aly salaam

As we know that The Qur'aan is the Last book ok Allaah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala), revealed upon Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alyhe wassallim

Alif, Lam, Ra. [This is] a Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that you might bring mankind out of darknesses into the light by permission of their Lord - to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy -
http://tanzil.net/#14:4

Allaah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) says in Qur'aan:

Say, [O Muhammad-sallallahu alyhe wassallim], "The Pure Spirit [Ruh-ul-Qudus] has brought it [Qur'aan ] down from your Lord in truth to make firm those who believe and as guidance and good tidings to the Muslims."
http://tanzil.net/#16:102

Accordingly Tafsir Ibn- Kathir, Ruh-ul-Qudus is Jibril aly salaam. JiBril aly Salaam is an Angel of Allaah, whom Allaah chose as messenger, we have already seen that Allaah chose messengers from Angels whom He wills.

also

No! Indeed, these verses are a reminder;
So whoever wills may remember it.
[It is recorded] in honored sheets,
Exalted and purified,
[Carried] by the hands of messenger-angels,
Noble and dutiful.
http://tanzil.net/#80:11 - http://tanzil.net/#80:16

Lets refresh our memory, The very First ayaah of Qur'aan was revealed by JibRil aly salam and that was

Recite in the name of your Lord who created
http://tanzil.net/#96:1

Qur'aan says Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu alyhe wassallim had seen GiBriel aly salaam.

Nor does He *sallallahu alyhe wassallim speak from [his own] inclination.
It is not but a revelation revealed,
Taught to him by one intense in strength -
One of soundness. And he rose to [his] true form
While he was in the higher [part of the] horizon.
Then he approached and descended
And was at a distance of two bow lengths or nearer.
And he revealed to His Servant what he revealed.
At the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary -
Near it is the Garden of Refuge -
When there covered the Lote Tree that which covered [it].
The sight [of the Prophet] did not swerve, nor did it transgress [its limit].
He certainly saw of the greatest signs of his Lord.
http://tanzil.net/#53:3 - http://tanzil.net/#53:18

SUBHAN ALLAH

and Allaah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) decreed for Enemy of Gibriel aly salaam,

Say, "Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel - it is [none but] he who has brought the Qur'an down upon your heart, [O Muhammad], by permission of Allaah, confirming that which was before it and as guidance and good tidings for the believers."

Whoever is an enemy to Allaah and His angels and His messengers and Gabriel and Michael - then indeed, Allaah is an enemy to the disbelievers.
http://tanzil.net/#2:98 http://tanzil.net/#2:97

بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
assalamualikum wa rahmat ALlahi wa brakatuh

||Angels, who are HARSH and SEVERE||

O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded.
http://tanzil.net/#66:6

TAFSIR OF AYAA

(Protect yourselves and your families against a Fire (Hell)) saying, "Have Taqwa of Allah and order your family to have Taqwa of Him.'' Qatadah said, "He commands obedience to Allah, to not disobey Allah, he orders his family to obey His orders and helps them to act upon His orders. When one sees disobedience, he stops them and forbids them from doing it.'' Similar was said by Ad-Dahhak and Muqatil; "It is an obligation for the Muslim to teach his near family members, and his male and female slaves what Allah has made obligatory for them and what Allah has forbidden for them.''

There is a Hadith that confirms the meaning of this Ayah. Ahmad, Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi recorded that Ar-Rabi` bin Sabrah said that his father said that the Messenger of Allah said,

«مُرُوا الصَّبِيَّ بِالصَّلَاةِ إِذَا بَلَغَ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ، فَإِذَا بَلَغَ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ فَاضْرِبُوهُ عَلَيْهَا»

(Order the children to pray when they reach the age of seven and when they reach the age of ten, discipline them for (not performing) it.)
This is the narration that Abu Dawud collected; At-Tirmidhi said, "This Hadith is Hasan.''

(whose fuel is men and stones,) indicating that the Children of Adam will be fuel for the Fire that will feed it,

(and stones) in reference to the idols that were worshipped, just as Allah said in another Ayah,

Mujahid, Abu Ja`far Al-Baqir and As-Suddi said that these are sulfur stones that are more putrid than rotten corpses, according to Mujahid. Allah's statement,

عَلَيْهَا مَلَـئِكَةٌ غِلاَظٌ شِدَادٌ

(over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe,) means, their nature of behavior is stern, because the mercy has been taken out of their hearts for those who disbelieve in Allah,

شِدَادٌ

(severe) meaning, their structure is powerful, strong and frightening,

لاَّ يَعْصُونَ اللَّهَ مَآ أَمَرَهُمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ

(who disobey not the commands they receive from Allah, but do that which they are commanded.) meaning, whatever Allah commands them, they rush to obey Him, without delay for even a twinkling of an eye. They are able to fulfill the command; they are called Az-Zabaniyah, meaning, the keepers and guards of Hell, may Allah give us shelter from them. (ameen)

بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

WHAT ARE ANGELS!

assalamualikum wa rahmat ALlahi wa brakatuh
Welcome Back to JoinTheJourney,

There is an important information about Angels in the Qur'aan.

1) Angels are not female
2) More over Angels are not daughter of Allaah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) [Na'ozobillah]

And they assign daughters unto Allaah! Glorified (and Exalted) be He above all that they associate with Him!. And unto themselves what they desire;
http://tanzil.net/#16:57

Or has He daughters while you have sons?
http://tanzil.net/#52:39

Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses?
Verily, it is of their falsehood that they (Quraish pagans) say:
"Allaah has begotten off spring or children (i.e. angels are the daughters of Allaah)?" And, verily, they are liars!
Has He (then) chosen daughters rather than sons?
What is the matter with you? How do you decide?

http://tanzil.net/#37:150
http://tanzil.net/#37:151
http://tanzil.net/#37:152
http://tanzil.net/#37:153

Had Allaah willed to take a son (or offspring or children), He could have chosen whom He pleased out of those whom He created. But glory be to Him! (He is above such things). He is Allaah, the One, the Irresistible.

http://tanzil.net/#39:4

WHO WERE THAT PEOPLE?

The Arab Pagans claimed that Angels were daughters of Allaah.

One should always remember that the knowledge of the Ghayb (unseen), which includes information concerning the angels, is only known to Allaah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) as mentioned in the Qur'aan,

"(He Alone) the All-Knower of the Gha'ib (unseen), and He reveals to none His Gha'ib (unseen)."
Except to a Messenger (from mankind) whom He has chosen (He informs him of unseen as much as He likes), and then He makes a band of watching guards (angels) to march before him and behind him.

http://tanzil.net/#72:26
http://tanzil.net/#72:27

One of the reasons why the children of Adam go astray while speaking about the unseen is when they make false and baseless claims about the unseen. Such was the case of the Arab Pagans at the time of Allaah's Messenger (sallallahu alahi wa-sallam), who made many claims about the matters of the Ghayb without any genuine source of information. Allaah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) rebuked them saying,

Or have they a stairway (to heaven), by means of which they listen (to the talks of the angels)? Then let their listener produce some manifest proof.
http://tanzil.net/#52:38

One of their astray claims was that angels are females, and they mixed this idea with that which is far removed from the truth - that these females are daughters of Allaah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) (Na'oudhubillah). The Qur'aan refuted them and pointed out that they had no sound evidence for their claims. It is strange indeed that they attributed daughters to Allaah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala), when they themselves hated daughters.

Ibn Katheer writes, 'Then Allaah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) states that He does not have any offspring, as the ignorant idolaters claim the angels to be 'Had Allaah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) willed to take a son, He could have chosen whom He willed out of those who He created.' Meaning, the matter would not have been as they claim. This is a conditional sentence, which does not imply that this happened or that it is permitted, indeed, it is impossible 'But glory be to Him! He is Allaah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala), the One, the Irresistible.' means, exalted and sanctified be He above the idea that He could have any offspring, for He is the One, the Only, the Unique, the Self-Sufficient Master to Whom everything is enslaved and is in need of. He is the One Who is independent of all else, Who has subjugated all things and they submit humbly to Him. Blessed and exalted be He far above what the wrongdoers and deniers say.'

Thus, the best manner in which the Angels are described is 'slaves of Allaah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala)' and they cannot be described as males or females. Allaah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) has described the true status of the angels in a number of places in the Qur'aan, 'And they say, 'The Most Beneficent (Allaah) has begotten a son (or children).' Glory to Him! They [those whom they call children of Allaah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) i.e. the angels, 'Iesa (Jesus) son of Maryam (Mary), 'Uzair (Ezra), etc.], are but honored slaves.' [Soorah al-Ambiya (21): 26]

I'm following the verse for Map of TheJourney

The Messenger (Muhammad SAW) believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers. Each one believes in Allaah , His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers. They say, "We make no distinction between one another of His Messengers" - and they say, "We hear, and we obey. (We seek) Your Forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the return (of all)."
http://tanzil.net/#2:285

So INsha'Allaah after The attributes of ALlaah, FAith in Angels we will move on The Books, and then Messengers [peace upon them]
As for now Fe amaan Allaah
wassalamualikum wa rahmat Allaahi wa brakatuh
Jazakum Allahu khair for being part of TheJourney!

Welcome Back To TheJourney...

There is mention the unseen Aid in the Qur'aan, which the scholars said is about Angels,

UNSEEN AID ~ Victory of the battle Hunayn.

Then Allaah did send down His Sakinah (calmness, tranquillity and reassurance, etc.) on the Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and on the believers, and sent down forces (angels) which you saw not, and punished the disbelievers. Such is the recompense of disbelievers.
http://tanzil.net/#9:26

▶ Explanation of Ayaah

and sent down forces which you saw not▶ This refers to ANGELS. Imam Abu Ja`far bin Jarir ﴿At-Tabari﴾ said that Al-Qasim narrated to them, that Al-Hasan bin `Arafah said that Al-Mu`tamir bin Sulayman said from `Awf bin Abi Jamilah Al-`Arabi who said that he heard `Abdur-Rahman, the freed slave of Ibn Barthan saying,

"A man who participated in Hunayn with the idolators narrated to me,

`When we met the Messenger of Allah sallallahy alyhe wassallam and his Companions on the day of Hunayn, they did not remain in battle more than the time it takes to milk a sheep! When we defeated them, we pursued them until we ended at the rider of the white mule, the Messenger of Allah sallallahy alyhe wassallam . At that time, men with white handsome faces intercepted us and said: `Disgraced be the faces! Go back. So we ran away, but they followed us. That was the end for us.''

Another ayaah...

If you help him (Muhammad sallallahy alyhe wassallam) not (it does not matter), for Allaah did indeed help him when the disbelievers drove him out, the second of two, when they (Muhammad SAW and Abu Bakr) were in the cave, and He (sallallahy alyhe wassallam) said to His companion (Abu Bakr):

"Be not sad (or afraid), surely Allaah is with us."

Then Allah sent down His Sakinah (calmness, tranquillity, peace, etc.) upon him, and strengthened him with forces (ANGELS) which you saw not, and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowermost, while it was the Word of Allaah that became the uppermost, and Allaah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

▶ Brief Explanation

During the year of the Hijrah, the idolators tried to kill, imprison or expel the Prophet , who escaped with his friend and Companion, Abu Bakr bin Abi Quhafah, to the cave of Thawr. They remained in the cave for three days so that the pagans who were sent in their pursuit, returned (to Makkah), and they proceed to Al-Madinah. While in the cave, Abu Bakr was afraid the pagans might discover them for fear that some harm might touch the Messenger

ℐ hope we have left with few more topics about Angels InshaAllaah, and here we see the Angels came in appearence of HUMAN- we see certain events in the Qur'aan about this...

Subhan'Allah very first metion in the Qur'aan arrival of Jibreal aly salaam to Maryam bint `Imran rady Allahu anha [from the family lineage of Dawud], and not only that, he brought the news of Esaa aly salam one of the five Great Messengers [salamun aly kum] as the sign of Allaah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) for all mankind.

Maryam was raised among the Children of Israel in an honorable way. She was one of the female worshippers, well-known for her remarkable acts of worship, devotion and perseverance. She lived under the care of her brother-in-law, Zakariyya, who was a Prophet of the Children of Israel at that time. He was a great man among them, whom they would refer to in their religious matters

Allaah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala)says:
And mention in the Book, Maryam, when she withdrew in seclusion from her family to place facing east.. She placed a screen before them; then We sent to her Our Ruh, and he appeared before her in the form of a man in all respects. She said: "Verily, I seek refuge with the Most Gracious (Allah) from you, if you do fear Allah.'' (The angel) said: "I am only a messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son.'' She said: "How can I have a son when no man has touched me, nor am I Baghiyya''. He said: "Thus says your Lord: `That is easy for Me (Allah). And (We wish) to appoint him as a sign to mankind and a mercy from Us (Allah), and it is a matter (already) decreed (by Allah).''

فَأَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَيْهَآ رُوحَنَا
(then We sent to her Our Ruh,) "It means Jibril.''

فَتَمَثَّلَ لَهَا بَشَراً سَوِيّاً
(and he appeared before her in the form of a man in all respects.)

سَوِيّاً = sawiyyun = -even, right, sound in mind and body. sawiyyan - being in sound health.

Before in surah al-Imraan Allah says:

(Remember) when the angels said: "O Maryam (Mary)! Verily, Allah gives you the glad tidings of a Word ["Be!" - and he was! i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus) the son of Maryam (Mary)] from Him, his name will be the Messiah 'Iesa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), held in honour in this world and in the Hereafter, and will be one of those who are near to Allah."

wa 3alaikumu'ssalam wa rahmatu'LLAH wa barakatuh brother

yea I mentioned that before,
Interestingly Human always wanted to be like angel despite the fact that Allaah made Human whom Angels prostrated/sajjada.

But Satan whispered to them to make apparent to them that which was concealed from them of their private parts. He said, "Your Lord did not forbid you this tree except that you become angels or become of the immortal.
http://tanzil.net/#7:20
And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate yourselves before Adam.". And they prostrated except Iblis (Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers (disobedient to Allah).
http://tanzil.net/#2:34

And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate unto Adam." They prostrated except Iblis (Satan). He said: "Shall I prostrate to one whom You created from clay?"
http://tanzil.net/#17:61

And (remember) when We said to the angels; "Prostrate to Adam." So they prostrated except Iblis (Satan). He was one of the jinns; he disobeyed the Command of his Lord. Will you then take him (Iblis) and his offspring as protectors and helpers rather than Me while they are enemies to you? What an evil is the exchange for the Zalimun (polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc).
http://tanzil.net/#18:50

And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate yourselves to Adam." They prostrated (all) except Iblis (Satan), who refused.

OK - that was one accpect of being better .. [even great from angels], an other thing is that human are send for going through test in this world, and the reward of successfull peoples would be beyond from our imaginations, SobhanAllaah.. In this world often when we imagine things by using the best of our imaginations we never find that expectations meet truely, but I guess the reward of momineen would be just the imagination many many times greater then human imagination inshaAllaah...

So that was my opinion, do you have something else to share?
jazakAllaahu khaira for be part or TheJourney....
